"I would recommend your home to anyone. Thank you for having such a beautiful and loving home filled with the most loving Caregivers. My husbands mother, my mother in law her first visit at River Forest Home was on her Birthday, there was a cake and everyone sung Happy Birthday she hasn't stopped smiling since. We visit her as if she was still in her own home any day, anytime and with a dessert most times ( she has a sweet tooth). When we visit with her, the most kindest ladies that care for everyone in the home greet us with smiles, including the other residents. We actually watched the Saints (big loss) game with everyone what fun we had. Thanksgiving, what a spread of food and good will from everyone and there family's. Christmas, tree decorated, stockings hung house filled with love. Granny as we all call her, loves being in a beautiful home (being that she cant stay in hers alone anymore), she's always dressed nice, hair done( sometimes in curlers depending on the time of day ), ear rings in, most important happy!!! She has made friends in the house and she is well taken care of, I refer to the house as filled with angels. Everyone including the owner Mr. Craig which we see often, Lynette, Antionette, Keshia and others, we feel bless to have them all taking care of Our Granny."
"You have no idea the impact you had on us. You, Lynette, and all the other workers became friends and never at any time made us feel awkward. Besides visiting my mother, I felt I was visiting them, too, even the other patients and their family members were very friendly to my mother and my sister and me. Whether you realize it, you are doing a GREAT service to all those that stay and their family. I always talk to my friends about you. As you can see, my friend JoAnn Hamburger went straight to you to care for Ms Marie. She knew before she brought her that she would get the same loving care that she gave her at home; but JoAnn just couldn't go any more. Thanks again for being there. I will keep spreading the word."
"We thank you Craig for your amazing home and staff. We thank Lynette and the staff, you are friends not just workers. You make it a happy home for all. Y'all provided amazing care and friendship to our mom and us throughout our moms stay. Thank you!
"On behalf of my family, it was hard enough to make that decision for our mother to leave our home and be placed in a Senior Care Facility. In speaking with you, Craig, you sounded like a dear friend stepping in to help us in this transition, making us confident that this was the right move for her care. Everyone that works there always showed compassion with our mother and all the other seniors. The facility is always kept clean and cheerful. They worked with each and everyone's individual needs that was shown no matter what time of day we visited. My mother was so comfortable there that she was under the impression that this was her home and everyone else was just visiting. All of these factors reassured our family that she was given the best personable care possible. They kept us informed of what to expect concerning her health in her declining days. As each of us knows that we may not be there when they pass, you can be assured that they stayed with my mother and kept her comfortable and pain-free. As painful for me as it was, just knowing that they were with her when she passed helped me with dealing with my loss. I will always be grateful to Craig, Lynette and all the others for making this possible. The BIGGEST thanks from my family to each for you. I will always remember you the kindness you showed us."
